6th Article of Faith

Jesus Christ set up the primitive (original) Church during His life on earth. Draw a line between those things that are similar between the primitive and latter-day Church. Memorize the Scriptures: We believe in the same organization that existed in the primitive Church, namely apostles, prophets, pastors, teachers, evangelists, and so forth.
