It is His generous invitation to "ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you." This timeless offer to provide personal revelation is extended to all of His children. It almost sounds too good to be true. But it is true! To access information from heaven, one must first have a firm faith and a deep desire. One needs to "ask with a sincere heart and real intent, having faith in Jesus Christ." "Real intent" means that one really intends to follow the divine direction given. The Holy Ghost, John, usually comes in the form of feelings, it's different for everybody. Vivian, how would you explain feeling the Holy Ghost? What would it feel like to you? For me it's like a clenching feeling if something's wrong, or like a relief when something's right. That's a good explanation. I usually just feel good; you feel peaceful. Have you ever done something nice for somebody, and you just felt good after Yeah. That's usually how we get our answers, if we study it out in our minds, and if we ask God and then pause. And if we feel peaceful about it, we know that what we prayed about is true. No matter what Elder Hepworth and I tell you, Sister Rampley, or Vivian, your testimony and your relationship is between you and God. You are one of His choice sons, and He loves you very much. He wants you to have your personal testimony of this gospel. You're not going to gain that until you ask. So, that's how we can know, is, we pray. If you want to turn in here ... It's got a picture of a girl praying. It says, "How can I know?" It says, "You can know this message is true if you ask your Heavenly Father in prayer. You can receive an answer from Him through the Holy Ghost." Elder Bott and I, it just kind of clicked one day those pamphlets are really useful in teaching lessons. Why haven't we been using these earlier? Because they share exactly what you need to say and what the people need to do. "These feelings from the Holy Ghost are a personal revelation to you that the gospel of Jesus Christ as restored through Joseph Smith is true." In that box it teaches you how to pray. Not everybody has a background of praying to Heavenly Father. When we express that you can receive answers- that's when they're converted. In the world today, we see prayers being offered that are memorized or recited. They just get said because that's the prayer you say for this or that. The Lord wants us to ask Him personally, to kneel down and, just like it says here, to "address your Heavenly Father." So any question that you have, anything you want to talk to God about, you can. All right. And then after you do all those things, it says that you close, "In the name of Jesus Christ, amen." All right. Any questions about that? Pretty simple? Yeah. Can we end with a prayer? Yeah! Would you mind saying it, John? Sure. You could even read from there. Sounds good. Do you mind if we kneel? No, that's cool. Just do whatever your heart tells you. I'll sit.

Our Heavenly Father ... we ask that You give me strength to ponder and pray about what I've learned today- that rhymed. And help me and my family and my friends through any hardships that they may come to, and to have faith in ... me and everyone else. In the name of Jesus Christ, amen. Amen. That was a good prayer. Before I met with the elders I didn't pray at all, and just learning the proper way to do it made everything kind of flow out a bit better. I started doing that every night, and just by doing that, I've felt a pretty big presence of God. It's like He's speaking through a megaphone in my ear.
