I had a large group of friends that I'd grown up with. And we're all very close and almost all like family. And the way we spent our time was probably not conducive with the Church life-- a lot of sort of pubs and things like this, and things that just weren't suitable for me. So it sort of came to a stage there where I knew that something was going to have to give and I was going to have to not completely sacrifice my friends, but just step off a little bit and decide what I wanted to do. So I was coming out to church every Sunday. And I found that before I knew it everything was just there. And I just could not deny anything anymore. And if anyone ever questioned me about the Church and said, "Well, why do you do this?" I found myself almost becoming quite defensive. I was like, well, hang on a minute. I'm not even sure I actually know this is true. But wait a minute. It is true. And so it came about without me realizing it, really. But it just grew, grew, grew until I just knew that it was the right thing.
