I guess at that time in my life I was in a very sort of comfortable situation-- was working, had all my friends around me, having a life of a 27-year-old guy, just enjoying life, but not really being fulfilled in quite an important way. But I couldn't put words on what was not fulfilled. Starting to look for some spiritual answers. Sort of looking back at where I was coming from. I was raised in the Catholic Church, and I had memories of some feelings that I had when I was a child. But that was pretty much it, and I couldn't find any answers in these memories. And I felt like I needed to find something else, but I didn't know what it was. My friend and colleague, who is still a very good friend with me, told me about his membership in the Church. I was not aware in any way of the Church. And when he started to explain to me about the restored gospel, a prophet on earth, and all these things that were completely foreign to me, I was a bit surprised and puzzled. It took me a while to really start to ask more and actually investigate more about the Church. But he basically took me on that journey in a very-- just in a very friendly way. And that's how I started to learn and actively learn more about the Church.
