The Book of Mormon is a collection of ancient writings. And it's another testament that Jesus is the Christ-- --written by prophets. It is a record of the people who lived on the American continent. It goes along with the accounts of the Bible. This book stands as a second witness to the Bible to say that Jesus truly is the Christ. It was translated from an ancient record by Joseph Smith. The Book of Mormon has helped me get myself together. The Book of Mormon has helped me grow closer to Christ by allowing me to know who He was. That we can feel that same joy and that peace of Jesus Christ-- has helped me grow closer to Christ by always unfolding new things for me. I follow what it says and then I pray about it. You know, put it to the test. I find myself having better days when I read the Book of Mormon. And it allows me to know that Jesus Christ lives and that He loves us. It's improved my life beyond measure. He's inviting us to come to Him. And I wasn't just reading all the other books I'd read, that this book was special.
