I gained my testimony about 12 just reading the Book of Mormon. When I thought about the experience, it was an interesting experience in that I, to be honest, didn't have any questions. Between the years of 8, 9, 10, 11, I was fine to come into the Church, I imagine, like most people come into the Church. I came into the Church, because my parents were members of the Church. I, basically, was good. But then I was also quite a reader. My mom made us read a lot, and so I read everything I could get my hands on. One day I decided, hey, let's read this. So weird thing, but I started reading the Book of Mormon, because it was another book in the house, and it was there to read. So I read it, and while reading it, I realized-- I got this, as they say, burning in the bosom. I realized that at a point, I wasn't just reading all the other books I'd read. That this book was special. It was a pretty profound experience to go from just reading stuff to reading a book like that. And that would be when I got my testimony.
