My name is Giordayne, and I'm from Jamaica. I love to play sports, study, help at home, and be an example. In our school in Jamaica, we have a Boys' Day and a Girls' Day. When it's Girls' Day, mothers go to school with their daughters and boys stay home. When it's Boys' Day, fathers go to school with their sons and the girls stay home. On these special days we have talent shows, spelling contests, writing contests, and other fun activities. I was chosen to compete in spelling. My favorite word to spell is environment. My brother, Samuel, was in the writing contest. His essay explained how to show respect to others and to yourself. He won first place, like me. When we grow up, we both want to be teachers. There are only a few children in our school who are members of the Church. But we can be like teachers now by being examples and sharing our testimonies with our friends. We also look forward to going to the temple. The only one we've seen is the Manhattan temple in New York City. We are excited that when we turn 12, we'll be able to go. We try to serve the Lord in everything we do, because then we can live with Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ again. My name is Giordayne, and I am one in a million. [MUSIC PLAYING]
