Isaiah foresaw and recorded in scripture the divine mission of the Messiah, even Jesus Christ. The people that walked in darkness have seen a great light. If I may but touch his clothes I should be whole. [MUSIC PLAYING] The Lord hath anointed him to preach good tidings to the meek and bind up the broken-hearted. [MUSIC PLAYING] And his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. [MUSIC PLAYING] Not everyone that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven, but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. The spirit of the Lord shall rest upon him.
The spirit of wisdom and understanding. The Son of man has come to save that which is lost-- He shall feed his flock like a shepherd. He shall gather the lambs with his arm and carry them in his bosom. A man of sorrows and acquainted with grief. And we hid as it were our faces from him.
He hath no form nor comeliness. There is no beauty that we should desire him.
Father. Surely he hath borne our griefs and carried our sorrows. [COMMOTION] He was wounded for our transgressions. [MUSIC PLAYING] [WHIPPING] The chastisement of our peace was upon him. [WEEPING] Father, forgive them. And with his stripes we are healed. [MUSIC PLAYING] My Lord and my God. [MUSIC PLAYING] The Lord hath anointed him to preach good tidings to the meek.
To make intercession for the transgressors. [MUSIC PLAYING] To open the prisons to them that are bound.
And bind up the broken-hearted. [MUSIC PLAYING]
