[FOREIGN SPEAKING] We are here in Dichato, one of the most affected areas. We had the earthquake, and later we had the tsunami. The sea came out and then went back. And that was what destroyed the houses.

[FOREIGN SPEAKING] You saw it all, the three waves that came out, right? Yes, well, my wife did. I'm blind. They came to my house and told us, "Mister, start running. The tsunami's coming." There is no place to buy. There is no money because we don't have resources to work. The water took all my stuff. The house was full of water. It took everything from us. I was left without anything, and I have four children.

[FOREIGN SPEAKING] We are young single adults, and we belong to the institute from Santiago. We wanted to get together to help the victims of the earthquake here in Chile. People lost their things, or some lost their families. And it's very sad. Very sad.

We got together and said, "We have to do something. Let's do something about it." Thanks to Facebook and phones, we were able to communicate with each other to do this service.

One of the things that people need the most after the earthquake is personal hygiene items. They don't have a place to get them. So we are giving them these resources. The Church supported us and gave us the materials to be able to do this. [FOREIGN SPEAKING] This kit will be given to each earthquake victim, members or not. We've been here for three, four days. And we have put together 7,000 kits. And the goal is 10,000. [FOREIGN SPEAKING] My heart is filled with joy and satisfaction to see how the youth live the gospel and are willing to serve wherever they are needed.

We know there are a lot of people in the south of Chile that need every kind of thing.

Some friends in Santiago have been preparing this for you.

They organized and united efforts to make these kits to help you. We are grateful for it. [FOREIGN SPEAKING] We feel the love of Christ as we do this service. We see our love reflected to Him and to our brethren through this.

They need our help. And we're going to be here to be like Jesus's hands right now. Jesus Christ told us to serve. He told us to help. Jesus said, "Charity never faileth," to always serve our neighbor and to love our fellowman. And that's what we're doing.
