I grew up in Lier. My name is Karen. I'm from Brooklyn, New York. Everybody's seeking for some form of happiness. And sometimes people are searching in money, material things, in power. But it's not there. Whether or not there was a God, I didn't know if there was one, and I really didn't think about it. I remember the first time that I actually decided to just give a very simple prayer and say, "God, are you really there?" I started to get these feelings inside, just of peace and of comfort. It's the mornings you wake up where the sun is shining after three days of snow and cold. That was when I first started to realize that we do have a Heavenly Father. I feel it in my heart. I know that He knows me. [SPEAKING FOREIGN LANGUAGE] He's there in every corner and every action and in every experience that I have. When I think about how Heavenly Father loves us, I think about my own parents. When I see my family, I feel so much love for them. And it just feels natural that there is a Father in Heaven who loves us too. And knowing that your Father is there to protect and to look over you makes all the difference in the world. [SPEAKING FOREIGN LANGUAGE] We all have a divinity inside us that makes us similar, despite our differences. Don't matter if you're black or white. We are brothers and sisters, and we all got to live together in one love. We are part of a family, a global family. He does know every single one of us. He does. And He loves us. If you want to know what true happiness is, God has that plan for us. And the best thing about it is that it doesn't cost anything. It's free. And it's yours for the taking. And it's always been there for everyone. He is so loving that He's willing to send His Son to die for us. Without Jesus Christ and through His example and through His Atonement, we would never have a chance to go back to Heavenly Father. So you think about that kind of love, where our Heavenly Father wants all His children back together, how can you not want to share that love? How can you not want to be a part of that? Kneel down and talk to Him, and try to talk to this person and ask if He really is a God. And I know for sure that He would answer you. [SPEAKING FOREIGN LANGUAGE] I am a child of God.
