The day was kind of a blur from very early in the morning until we got here. As the group, when the choir is tired, their focus goes. And they take a lot of extra attention to get them back on track, but they always get there. The concert last night [? expended ?] an extraordinary amount of energy, in that you wouldn't know that we had all been up for so long. And you know and yet when you see the house fill up and you know that they've all come to see and experience what we do, the energy arrives. And we don't get to see most of the people that we are able to touch. And when we can come to a place that's a long ways from home, and see that there are people who really appreciate us, and what you do, and are touched by the Spirit, that's the reward and that's the purpose. The local choral director said last night or yesterday, they said, "Oh, it was so gratifying to us to hear your conductors tell you to do the same things that we, our group, do. And we can go back and tell our groups we're not the only ones who say this. And the difference is when your conductors tell you to fix something, you fix it." It makes the trip very easy when you see the people who line up and are excited to hear it. The energy is so strong in the group. And everybody's smiling and excited to be here. And we look forward to this every two years. And it's a great blessing to be here. I'm really looking forward to seeing people and greeting them. They've heard the choir all their lives, but there's no way to describe what it's like to hear it live and up close.
