"And when [Jesus] had sent the multitudes away, he went up into a mountain apart to pray." During the Savior's ministry, He often sought occasion to commune with His Father. Through prayer, fasting, study, and perfect obedience, He prepared spiritually to teach and minister to those He had been sent to.

Leaders in the Savior's Church today seek to follow His example. They prepare themselves spiritually to serve, and the Lord blesses them with the guidance of the Holy Ghost.
