Leaders in the Lord's church invite all to come unto Christ through the preaching of the gospel.

The ward mission leader assists the bishop in coordinating this work. As the Lord's servant, he approaches his many responsibilities with faith. He remembers the Lord's words to early missionaries in his church-- "Oh, ye that embark in the service of God, see that ye serve Him with all your heart, might, mind, and strength." [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]

"If ye have desires to serve God, ye are called to the work." [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]

"For behold, the field is white, all ready to harvest." [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]

"Ask, and ye shall receive. Knock, and it shall be opened unto you." [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]

The ward mission leader is the Lord's servant. By faith, he leads ward efforts to find, teach, and baptize investigators. He invites all to come unto Christ, and the Lord blesses his diligent efforts with success.

To review-- sharing the gospel is a vital part of fulfilling God's commandment to invite all to come unto Christ.

The ward mission leader assists the bishop in coordinating member missionary efforts in the ward. He recognizes that preaching the gospel is a spiritual work, and requires faith, commitment, desire, obedience, and spiritual direction.

In your service as a ward mission leader, you may want to consider these questions regularly-- How can I strengthen my faith in the Lord, and my desire to do His work? What can I do to seek revelation about how to help others find and accept the gospel?

How can I increase my personal efforts to invite all to come unto Christ?
