[MUSIC PLAYING] Doctrine and Covenants section 21, verse 9: "For, behold, I will bless all those who labor in my vineyard with a mighty blessing." As I have witnessed our youth in the Vineyard Ward teaching their nonmember friends, I feel a genuine love. And they feel the joy of laboring in the vineyard, of bringing souls unto Christ. And as they develop these relationships, I see the joy that it brings our youth right now. Well [? Shivary ?] and I, we met at football practice, and we're pretty good friends. We've been friends at school, and we've hung out a few times after. He came over to my house, and eventually he met up with the missionaries. When I first started going to church with my mom, there was only one girl I knew, and that was because me and her had science class together. I had invited one of my friends, who is a nonmember, to come to church with me. She started coming every Sunday. And I got there, and I loved the feeling. And it was--everyone was like a family. I was kind of shocked, actually, a little. Her and Nikki Leighton, they both basically came up to me, and they just started talking to me, telling me more about the Church. And they were being really friendly about it, and I was thankful for that. Well, I guess the first time he came into church with me, they asked us to introduce the new visitors. And Dan was with me, and we stood up. I remember a few people yelling from the back, "Is he your bodyguard or is he your friend?" And it was funny. You remember that? I remember that. It was a good one. I met a lot of people in the teachers quorum and made a lot of friends. I enjoyed the environment, so I just kept going every Sunday after that. I could tell she was really touched because after I moved and came here, I saw her at school, and she said she was still going to church and was able to go to Young Women's with a family that she had met. They're all different in their own way, but when it comes to the gospel and coming to church, they all treat each other the same way. They're nice, they're welcoming, and they show you the love that you want. I want him to be happier. I knew this would bring him happiness, and I want him to feel the same happiness I felt. I felt like I was doing something really good, bringing him to church every week and being able to be his friend and to bring the gospel into his life. So I'm excited for her. She seems to be really, really happy. For our youth to see that, and to be a part or an instrument in that transformation, changes both--both the youth, the member and nonmember. It's the greatest blessing in the world to be able to say that I'm a member and that I made this wise decision to go and be a part of all these many people that want to be able to go on that right path. And just like that feeling--I can't really describe it. It just comes at you. I just know that Joseph Smith was a prophet and this is the true Church. I see great joy in the youth as they develop these Christlike relationships with other people. And their goodness is expressed and strengthened by their efforts to be good missionaries and to share this wonderful gospel that brings so much happiness and peace to others. [MUSIC PLAYING]
