My name's Josie, and I'm from Alberta, Canada. I love to spend time with my family. I'm happy that many of my aunts, uncles, cousins, and grandparents live nearby. It's fun when we get together. I also enjoy doing math. I enjoy learning how to index with my dad on Sundays, too. The wind blows a lot in my town. These winds are called chinooks. They bring warm air in the winter. When they blow it is very pleasant in winter. My hero in the Book of Mormon is Nephi because he never gave up. He was courageous and always listened to Heavenly Father. Nephi's example helped me improve my reading. Every year my dad gives me a father's blessing to help me with school. This year he asked if I needed help with anything special. I told him I needed help with my reading. My father blessed me that I'd feel confident with my reading. Just like Nephi, I did not give up and I worked very hard at my reading assignments. My teacher tells me I'm reading much better now. Just like math and indexing, reading is now one of my favorite things to do. My name's Josie, and I'm one in a million. [MUSIC PLAYING]
