[MUSIC PLAYING] When Howard W. Hunter was a young man of 15, while living in Boise, he joined a gathering of Church members to discuss building a tabernacle to meet the Church's growing needs. When donation pledges were requested, Howard committed to pay $25. It was a substantial pledge to be offered by one in his teens and at a time of financial concern which preceded the Depression of 1929. Howard recorded, "I worked and saved until I was able to pay my commitment in full." He was present two years later when the completed tabernacle was dedicated by President Heber J. Grant.
