[MUSIC PLAYING] Conversion is a change of heart. It's you actually wanting to be different. It's not someone else telling you to be different, but it's you wanting to become more like Christ.

I feel like I have a lot more to grow, a lot more things I can do to improve, but I'm trying my best.

Our spiritual journey is the process of a lifetime. We do not know everything in the beginning or even along the way. Our conversion comes step by step, line upon line. Helping us become converted to the gospel of Jesus Christ takes time and effort. But day by day, as we choose to act on what we're learning and feeling, our hearts will begin to change. How will you know that we're becoming converted? You'll see it and feel it. You'll recognize a growing unity in our quorums and classes.

It seems like once you go through this program, your relationships with other people become better. As a group, we've just grown closer together. And we've started relying on each other more. As our hearts change, our desire and confidence to share the gospel with others will grow. As they've developed their own testimony, they see themselves testifying more to their friends, to their nonmember friends. That's what I've recognized. The biggest blessing that it's been for me--to prepare me to not only go on a mission but to just be a missionary throughout my life--is it's been able to give me that confidence that I need to bear my testimony or to share the gospel with those that don't have it. As we become converted, our growing desire to use the Savior's Atonement to repent of our sins will change and strengthen us. It's empowered me to make changes and repent in my life, and because I've done that, I've come so much closer to Jesus Christ. I've loved Him. I trust Him so much more now. When we are becoming converted, you'll know. You'll see it, feel it, and recognize that real growth and change our happening in our lives. Like the Savior, you'll see the gospel take root in the hearts of those you teach, and you'll feel to rejoice. The conversion process that I'm seeing take place in these young men is similar to, I'm sure, what King Benjamin saw and Alma experienced when they had a mighty change of heart. They had no longer disposition to do evil. [MUSIC PLAYING]
