In this example, the student does a great job at not only explaining the meaning and application to real life today, they go on to share their feelings about an experience they've had with that gospel principle in their life. They then testify of what they know to be true. When we hear--and in this case read--one another bearing testimony of what we know to be true, the Holy Ghost can help us feel the power of the truth that is being shared in testimony. It might be new for some of you, but when we bear our testimonies through what we write, we can strengthen ourselves and others. President Boyd K. Packer said this about bearing testimony: "Oh, if I could teach you this you this one principle. A testimony is to be found in the bearing of it!... It is one thing to receive a witness from what you have read or what another has said; and that is a necessary beginning. It is quite another to have the Spirit confirm to you in your bosom that what you have testified is true." This can happen to you and me as we testify, even through the written word. As we seek to do our best to explain gospel principles in our own words, share how we feel experienced them in life, and then testify what we know to be true, we will be led by the Spirit as we seek to learn each day and do our best to participate fully in seminary lessons.
