Each person has a profile page in the online site. Your profile page should be used to introduce yourself to your class and help them get to know you better. There are a couple of ways you can view your profile. First, look for where it says Participants in the blocks or on the left-hand side in the dock. If you click there, you will see a list of all the members of the class. You can click on your name or picture. Or you can click on another person's profile. Second, you can view your own profile by clicking on your name in the top right-hand corner of the page. To edit or make changes to your own profile, follow these instructions: First, find the Settings block. Click on the small arrow next to My Profile Settings. Then click on Edit Profile. On this page, you can edit the information about you that you would like to share with the other members of the class. Under Description you should add some information about yourself. This might include some of your activities, some of your hobbies, some favorite foods, books, or anything you enjoy. All of these things can help your classmates get to know you better. You should add a picture of yourself to help others see what you look like. To add a picture, find a picture of yourself on your computer. Then, while editing your profile, drag and drop the file where indicated under User picture. You can also click on the Add bar. This will open a new widow called the File picker. Click on Upload a file from the left column. Then click on Browse to locate the picture file from your computer. After you have uploaded your image, make sure that you continue to scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on Update profile.
