Well, we wanted to serve a Church mission. But unfortunately, we both still work, so we chose to do a part-time service mission. We visit various stakes, wards, branches, interview members who are desirous to either gain employment or improve their employment. There's at least one marriage that's been saved as a result of this program. The husband and wife were having problems because he was unemployed--he could not provide--and all the emotional trauma that comes with long-term unemployment.

We helped him gain employment. So when I say I see the Lord's hand in what we're doing, it's not just employment.

If this program does nothing more than help people understand their value, then everything is worth the time spent.
