[MUSIC PLAYING] The Lord made it very clear, at the start of this last dispensation, that we were to take the Gospel to all the world. Whatever our age, capacity, church calling, or location, we are as one called to the work to help him in his harvest of souls until he comes again. We are one. As leaders, members, and missionaries, the Lord is inviting all of us to come and be a part of his great work. I realized that the work of salvation, bringing people to Christ and to know their Savior, isn't just for missionaries, that it's for everyone. And everyone needs to play a role or else it won't work. The work of salvation is given to all of us. There's different emphases, there's keys, there's different roles that leaders play, but every member of the Church has the responsibility to be involved in the work of salvation. We are all called to teach the Gospel. Members and missionaries have equal roles to support and uphold a new member. We're called to teach the specific lessons as outlined in Preach My Gospel, but members are there to teach as well. And none of us can do it alone. It's so important that we realize that there is imbalance to this work. It's not just all full-time missionaries or all just members, that we work together as a team. And as we labor together, we begin to realize that the work isn't ours at all. The work isn't ours. It's not the bishops. It's not the ward council's. It's really the Lord's work. Because we are the Lord's converted disciples, the only way we can work is together. And by the way, missionaries and members, we're all members of the same church. There's not a missionary church over here and an ecclesiastical church over here and we both kind of work our way through life separately. That doesn't make any sense. The missionaries are in our wards. When the missionaries get involved shoulder-to-shoulder, arm-in-arm with the members, there's a power that comes. Shoulder-to-shoulder, arm-in-arm, as we join together, the Lord's power will be with us. The missionaries can do so much. And what do, they do well. But there's only two or four of them or however many in a ward. Whereas, if you mobilize the whole ward, get all the members on board, then, of course, we could reach far more people. Our hearts will be knit together in unity and love, and we'll realize that we need one another. Our ward's gone from the ward supporting the missionaries' work to truly us all, as a group and as a ward, supporting the missionary work together. And it takes a team effort to truly, truly help the Gospel to grow in our ward. As leaders, members, and missionaries, we are one in the work of salvation. Working together, we will find great power to bring others into the church, to strengthen new members, and to rescue the lost. Now is the time for members and missionaries to come together, to work together, to labor in the Lord's vineyard to bring souls unto him.
