We're all familiar with the verse from section 68, "Inasmuch as parents have children in Zion, or ... any of her stakes which are organized, that teach them not to understand the doctrine of repentance, faith in Christ the Son of the living God, and of baptism and the gift of the Holy Ghost by the laying on of ... hands, when eight years old, the sin be upon the heads" of the bishop. [LAUGHING] But there's nothing in here about--it talks about stakes, but it doesn't talk about any officers or structure, ecclesiastical lines of authority. It's really talking about the membership of the stakes. It really is. In a stake, it's the parents, even though you've got bishops and you've got stake presidents and you've got Relief Society presidents. That clearly is, to me, the scriptural underpinning of what you're saying. It's first and foremost the parents.
