Move! Give it to me! No! It's mine! I had it first! No, I did! Get out of here. This is mine! No it's not!

It's mine! No it's not! Yes it is! I get it! Mom! Mom! I get it first!

I'm not making anything else. That's not going to work on me this time, sweetie.

Heavenly Father, we thank Thee for this day. We thank Thee for our family. Please help us to be able to get done all the things that we need to do today, and please help us to get to school on time and to not fight with each other. And help us to be safe. Mom? What? I forgot.

Got it. All right. Everyone in the car, please. [SCHOOL BELL RINGING]

Hey! Don't forget this! Sorry! Sorry.

[MESSAGE PING]

[DOOR BELL RINGING] Hey, Julia. I'm sorry to ask, but I have to go to a doctor's appointment, and I was wondering if there's any way you could watch Millie for just a couple hours. Hopefully not even that long. Have you asked anyone else, like Brooke or Crystal, or anyone? We're headed out the door right now. I have, but I can call around. Sorry.

No, no. I can do it. I have some stuff to do around the house, so it works out. Thank you. You're welcome. Hey, Millie.

Put your blanket down, love. OK, OK, OK. And one, two--no, no. Where are you? OK. OK. Three! No, no, no, no, no, no.

Yeah. Didn't they just have a baby? No, no, no. Of course I have time. Yeah. OK. Sounds good. We'll see them then. You're welcome. Bye.

[MESSAGE PING]

My guess is, we don't need a manager like that. We know what to do. Exactly. Just give me what I need to do my job, and I will make you look good. So what are you going to do? I don't know. Everybody's looking at me to help them. I don't want to stay there if I'm not happy, but at the same time, I don't want to abandon them. I really just want to think about myself, but I can't. It's frustrating. That makes me angry. I know. Like today-- I don't want to bother you with it, though. No. You're not bothering me. How about Heidi? If you left, who else would be able to help them?

Thanks for bringing me lunch. It's left over from last night. I needed it. You're amazing. You'll figure it out.

No, no, Evelyn. Do not put grass in your mouth! Sweetheart, no.

Hi. She was great. Thank you so much. You're welcome. All right, you guys. Jessica's going to be here any minute. You all set? I'm hungry.

Oh, shoot. Oh, shoot! OK. Where's my apron?

[TIMER BEEPS] No. No, no, no!

Thank you so much. This looks amazing. Well, I'm so sorry it's late. Oh, you're totally fine. Thank you so much. No problem. Bye. Come on, you guys. Let's go! Emily will say she's brushed her teeth, but I usually have to do a breath check. I mean, you don't have to do that, but just make sure you have William actually watch her brush her teeth. OK. All right, bye! Bye. Aurora, what do you want to play? You want--you want to play a game, don't you?

Looks like my plans have changed. We're not going to need you anymore tonight, Jessica. I'm sorry.

Hey! Give me that! No. It's my turn. Give me it! I had it first! I don't care. It's my turn. Enough! Just go to bed, OK?

But what about prayer? You say it, OK?

Dear Heavenly Father, we thank Thee for this day. We thank You for all our many blessings. Thank Thee that I won the science fair. Thank Thee that we could get all the things done that You needed us to do today. Thank Thee for our family. Thank Thee for Grandma and Grandpa. Thank Thee that we could have a good day today.

Many of you think you are failures.

You feel you cannot do well, that with all of your effort it is not sufficient.

We all worry about our performance. We all wish we could do better. But unfortunately we do not realize, we do not often see the results that come of what we do.

You never know how much good you do.

Thank Thee for all our many blessings, in the name of Jesus Christ, amen.

Amen.

You Never Know

Description
Sometimes, the most important things you do each day are never even on your “to-do” list. You might worry about the things you never get done, but President Gordon B. Hinckley reminds us, “You never know how much good you do.”
