Hi, namaste. My name is Sudipa. I'm from Nepal. And I used to work at Deseret Industries. I'm very independent. In Nepal, I liked to work. I have my bachelor's degree, and I was an accountant's assistant. In 2012, my husband and I got the opportunity to live in the USA. We took it because we knew not everybody got this chance. We came to Utah mainly because we have relatives living here. It was like a whole new world. It felt like we had to start over at life. We had our first child soon after. We struggled for a while. Our parents pleaded with us to move back home where life was easier. But after the baby was old enough, I wanted to go out and work again. Our friend recommended I apply at Deseret Industries. I got the job. It was the first time in my life that I was a store worker, not a customer. I went through the job training program in five months. I studied dental assisting and was top of my class. I was excited when I received a job offer the moment I graduated. Now I'm working again, and I love to do what I do. And I'm happy I can help support my family.
