I like to have these discussions with my kids, like, "All right, guys, what are your desires for our family? What can we do to change? How can we be better?"
I think it's important to have them feel that they have a voice and that they're helping to guide our family as well.
I'm a single mom. And am I implementing, you know, enough gospel material in the home? Are they going to have testimonies as they get older? It weighs heavily on my mind.
I think about my kids last year. And my kids have had a year. Sorry. It's been a rough year.
They've had to face a trial in that--not having their parents together in the home. So for me, I have seen the difference just in them focusing on their testimonies. It goes back to what we hear from our leaders all the time. Line upon line, precept upon precept.
I think having those discussions with them has been one of the greater blessings for me, and to talk about the importance of the gospel.
