Based on actual events as recorded in the Book of Mormon: Another Testament of Jesus Christ. [MUSIC PLAYING]

With Father gone, Nephi thinks to rule over us. We have had much trial because of him. It belongs to us to rule over this people. [DRAMATIC MUSIC] Let us slay him.

Lord, the anger of my brethren--they seek to take away my life.

Lord, what is thy will?

Sam! Zoram!

Nephi, what is it?

They seek to take away my life. Will we fight our own brothers? The Lord has warned me that we should depart from them and flee into the wilderness.

I'll get the children. [SHEEP BLEATING] [CLUCKING]

[WEEPING]

I love you. I can't come with you.

I wish you could come with us.

O wretched man that I am!

Yea, my heart sorroweth because of my flesh; my soul grieveth because of mine iniquities.

I am encompassed about, because of the temptations and the sins which do so easily beset me.

And when I desire to rejoice, my heart groaneth because of my sins; nevertheless, I know in whom I have trusted.

My God hath been my support.

He hath filled me with his love, even unto the consuming of my flesh.

Awake, my soul! No longer droop in sin.

Rejoice, O my heart, and give place no more for the enemy of my soul.

[SHEEP BLEATING] Rejoice, O my heart, and cry unto the Lord and say: O Lord, I will praise thee forever; yea, my soul will rejoice in thee, my God, and the rock of my salvation.
