During His earthly ministry, the Savior taught His gospel, performed many miracles, and established His Church.

And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand.

He called twelve men to be His Apostles-- Simon Bar-jona, by the authority of the holy priesthood that I hold-- --including Peter, James, and John.

He laid His hands on their heads to give them priesthood authority, to teach in His name, and to perform sacred ordinances, such as baptism, and to establish His Church in the world. [MUSIC PLAYING]
