is going to help us tell the story for Come, Follow Me today. Let’s do it, Jim!

Iim doesn’t work on regular paper, but he draws on his computer or iPad.

It's so cool. He has a special monitor that lets him draw right on the screen.

He showed me the stages he goes through when designing a piece of art.

First, he sketches out simple shapes.

Next, he refines each shape and adds value.

Yeah. So right now, once I get the composition going, how I want it.

And that's when I'll go in and start doing the details.

For instance, I would just, you know, if this is his face here, maybe some little spots where his eyes would go.

He then adds color and the details.

He let me help with a picture he's working on.

I never hear from people like.

He talked about layers. He showed me the different types of brushes you can paint with.

In a digital world, it's called adding another layer. So it'd be like, say, you have like, this is your original drawing. So I want to put a new layer on top of it, or I want to put a color layer on top, but it's just like adding another piece of paper on top of that.

This right here would represent this top piece right here.

In each image he draws, he tries to tell a deeper story.

I like digital painting because it's a little more fun and less messy.

He’s amazing. Jim is going to help us tell the story in Come, Follow Me today.

Let’s do it, Jim! Jesus had many people who loved Him.

One of His friends was a woman named Mary Magdalene.

She followed Jesus and believed in His teachings.

She was very sad when Jesus died.

Mary went to His tomb very early on a morning after He died.

But Jesus was not in the tomb. While she was at the tomb,

she heard someone say her name—and it was Jesus!

She was so happy to see him again! Jesus had been resurrected.

Resurrected means that His spirit returned to His body, and He was alive again. She ran to tell Jesus’s other followers that she had seen Him.

At first the disciples didn't understand, but then Jesus appeared to them.

Jesus saw that they were very sad and a little frightened.

He told them, Peace be unto you.

Jesus’s disciples were so happy to see Him!

Jesus ate with them and taught them.

He gave them the Holy Ghost and told them to teach all of the people about the gospel.

Because Jesus was resurrected, everyone will live again someday too.

It is sad when people we love die, but because of Jesus, we can have hope that we will see them again someday.

This painting turned out really good.
