Hey, there. I'm so glad you chose to click on this video. It probably means you're part of a Young Women class presidency or an Aaronic Priesthood quorum presidency and want some help with your meetings. Am I right? My name is Isabel. [MUSIC PLAYING]

And for the next couple of minutes, I'll walk you through some tips and ideas on how you can get your presidency meetings running smoothly. Let's go. [MUSIC PLAYING]

These meetings are for planning how to accomplish God's work, and you get to lead out in this great work. You'll discuss the needs of members of your class or quorum, plan activities, and so much more. I think that's a great idea. Think of it like an instruction manual. This is your work being done with presidency meetings. [ANGELIC SOUNDS] And this is your work without. Basically, your activities, Sunday meetings, and ministering visits may happen without a meeting, but they're probably not going to look like or accomplish what you were hoping for. [ANGELIC SOUNDS] What do you think we should do next? [MUSIC PLAYING] How often you meet or where you meet is really up to you, but meeting often may actually make your life easier. Meeting weekly, for example, may help you plan your weekly activities better. Discuss it with your presidency members, and see what best fits your schedules and the needs of your group. This is an opportunity for you to counsel together. Just like in Sunday meetings, talk with each other about how you can learn and share the gospel, how you can minister to your friends, and--you young men--fulfill priesthood duties. As young men and young women, we help gather Israel. On both sides of the veil. Yup, random kid--on both sides of the veil. That means we can't forget temple and family history work. Pray for help. The Holy Ghost will speak with each of you, and you will see how Heavenly Father is guiding your work. This is the work of salvation and exaltation. Here are some things you might want to discuss. Ministering--who can you reach out to? Who hasn't been visited lately, or who needs a little extra support? Plan your Sunday meetings. Who's teaching, who's conducting, and what's the lesson? Service and activities--what are you doing this week or this month, and who's helping to make it happen? And making and following up on assignments. Now, for the meetings, you don't have to start from scratch. The Church created a sample meeting agenda that can save you a lot of time. And there you have it--the secrets to conducting a presidency meeting. And now for your mission, if you choose to accept it. At your next presidency meeting, come prepared and ready to plan, and you'll be surprised at what your presidency can do. So get out there.

You're still here? I'm serious--go.
