Today we're going to play a game to help us learn about repentance.

Repentance is when we try to make things better after we make a wrong choice. In this game, we're going to learn about some of the things we do to repent.

First, can you find a picture of a wrong choice?

Great. When I make a wrong choice, I feel sad.

Is there a picture that looks like someone feeling sorry for making a wrong choice?

That’s right. This kid feels sad for making a mistake. When I make a wrong choice, it is important to ask for forgiveness.

Can you find a picture of someone telling his mom that he's sorry?

That's right. It's important to ask Heavenly Father for forgiveness, too.

I can do that when I pray.

How do you think you feel when you repent?

Jesus Christ made it possible for me to repent when I make a wrong choice.

Repenting means that I recognize when I make a wrong choice,

admit what I did wrong, and ask for forgiveness.

Repenting also means that I want to follow Jesus and remember Him,

so I don't choose to make that wrong choice again.

It's hard to admit when I do something wrong, but when I repent, I know I can feel peace in my heart again.
