Tithing is money that The Church of
Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints uses to help support missionary work, to build temples and meetinghouses
around the world, to publish scriptures, and to do many other things.
Heavenly Father blesses
us in lots of ways, so paying our tithing is one way that
we can show our thanks to Him.
Today we're going to play a game where
you have to spot the differences.
Here are two pictures of missionaries.
Tithing helps support missionary work. They look the same, but there
are some differences.
Can you help spot the differences?

a few differences. Can you find them?

Here is a picture of books,
scriptures, and manuals.

We can pay tithing on
money that we earn. There are lots of other ways
that we can show our love and thanks to Heavenly Father:
appreciating nature,
doing service projects like
cleaning the church building, or giving thanks in prayer are
all ways that we can show thanks to
Heavenly Father. Will you talk to a
family member or a friend about tithing?
Thanks for playing. See you next time.
