I really want to be hopeful and optimistic and positive. Something that I really had to work on hard my whole life is controlling a quick temper. The times in my life where I was the most happy were definitely the times where I was most actively involved in serving other people on a personal level. But lately I feel like it's been really superficial.

I talk myself out of conversations and social situations all the time. I love talking to people, but sometimes what I've struggled with in the past is really listening.
