Welcome to the 2023 Youth Music and Arts Festival.

I am Jared from Mexico. We are excited to share with you

music and art from youth around the world. To start with the Festival, I would like to share an experience: For me, Sundays were very special, because besides attending the Church, we used to visit my grandparents, and we had a good time as a family. However, during the pandemic, certain circumstances caused me to test my faith and I began to doubt whether the Church had any meaning at all.

Until one Sunday, while listening to the hymn, “God Speed the Right”, I understood that everything in this life has an eternal purpose.

And now I know that I can do all things through Christ.

It’s way too late to be thinking ’bout all the careless things I’ve done wrong.

They see mistakes I’ve been making now,

but I’ve been trying to lay ’em down, haven’t been myself for so long.

Through my hills and valleys, every storm-tossed sea,

I can feel my Savior so close to me.
