Hi, I’m Sam. And I’m Lucas.

We’re excited to tell you about some changes to “Come, Follow Me.”

First, we want to thank you for everything you do to help us learn about Jesus Christ and fulfill the divine roles He has given us. We hope you know how much influence you're having on our lives. As you may know, for the past several years we've had a separate manual for teaching Young Women classes and Aaronic Priesthood quorums in addition to “Come, Follow Me” resource for our personal and family scripture study.

Well, starting in 2024, these resources will be combined into a new one called “Come, Follow Me for Home and Church.” That means we’ll use the same “Come, Follow Me” manual to study at home as we will to prepare to teach on Sunday. In 2024, we will focus on the Book of Mormon's powerful witness of Jesus Christ. Here is how the new resource is organized. Each outline has two main sections. The first one has ideas for learning at home and at church. Each of these ideas can guide your individual study, your family study, and our discussions and church meetings and classes.

Here you'll find activities to help us learn from the scriptures. Questions to ponder and discuss. Links to the scriptures and general conference messages, as well as other helpful resources such as Book of Mormon videos, For the Strength of Youth guide, and music.

You can use any of the activities here in our Sunday class and quorum meetings. But there is one—the one with this blue icon—that has been specifically designed with youth in mind. Follow the inspiration of the Spirit. He'll help you know what to focus on to help us build our faith in Jesus Christ. Of course, it's important to remember that there's more to our Sunday meetings than just a lesson. Our Young Women classes and Aaronic Priesthood quorums are organized to help us participate in God's work of salvation and exaltation. At the back of the new “Come, Follow Me” resource in appendix D, there’s a sample meeting agenda to help quorum and class presidencies lead the meeting. At the beginning of each meeting, the presidency member leads us as we counsel together about our roles and accomplishing the work of salvation and exaltation, including ministering to those in need, sharing the gospel, or participating in temple and family history work. Next, we learn together about the gospel of Jesus Christ. This part of the meeting is led by whoever the class or quorum presidency assigns to teach. This is the part of the meeting where we use “Come, Follow Me for Home and Church.” This is a great opportunity to support, encourage, and inspire us to study the scriptures at home. A simple way to do this is to ask us questions like, What has the Holy Ghost taught you this week at home or in seminary as you studied the Book of Mormon? When we share what we are learning, the Holy Ghost will confirm these truths in our hearts as well as others in the class or quorum.

We are grateful for your friendship and love. Your relationships with us make a big difference in helping us come closer to the Savior.

For Youth Leaders—Changes Are Coming to Come, Follow Me
