Trust in the Lord is a familiar and true teaching in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Trust that God sees what we cannot, that He knows what we do not. You show your trust in Him when you listen with the intent to learn, and then go and do whatever He asks. He will visit us with assurances, speak peace to our souls, and cause us to hope for our deliverance in Him.

The Lord has counseled us to “Be still and know that I am God.” We can have the faith to trust Him. He wants what is best for us. He will answer our prayers. He will keep His promises. He has the power to keep those promises. He knows everything and most importantly, He knows what is best.

I invite you to take the long view, an eternal view. Think celestial! Because of Christ, it all works out.

Everything you and you and you are worried about— it’s all going to be okay. All things work together for good to them that love God. So keep loving, keep trying, keep trusting, keep believing, keep growing. Heaven is cheering you on. Don't give up. All things must come to pass in their time. There is so much we do not know that our only sure reliance is to trust in the Lord and His love for His children.
