The G20 and its leaders, I see them as acting under that overall prophetic vision to bring God's children together to talk about the best of all of us, to try to find better ways going forward.
Over the last 10 years attending the G20 Interfaith Forum, I'm so impressed with the bridge building that takes place, certainly in the forums where people bring their expertise, but certainly afterward too, as we find areas that we have common ground in, and then from year to year, we actually collaborate, we actually do things and come back again to speak about those things. To me, that’s why I come back.
God created the world and its beauty. And then He created the man and the woman in order to enjoy what the world offers to them. It is our responsibility to teach in our faith,
to address that in our communities, in our entities, religious— the respect for the world because God created it for our well-being. So we have that responsibility to preserve. I think the Bible itself proves that, because that’s the first story that we find there.
Every person can be a light to the world.
Every person can be an example of the Savior, Jesus Christ, to the world and help to reduce the conflicts and have more peace.
