A Light for My Savior

A Light for My Savior

Solos to Sing, Submitted Music (2007-2011)

If I could go to Galilee and walk along with Him,

If I could kneel at His feet to feel His strength within,

Oh, could I only touch His robe and look into His eyes to tell Him,

“I will serve Thee, Lord.” I give my life to Christ.

The woman at the well and the child on His knee,

The healing of the leper and the blind eyes that now see.

I feel His love and sacrifice. Now I want to begin to walk as if He stood by me,

I give my life to Him.

Could I reach out and lift you up, your burden I’ll bear.

My arms are surely strong enough; please let me draw you near,

And have you heard the message sweet that I have come to give?

It tells of Him, He gave his life, that you and I might live.

My life is a light for my Savior.  I bear witness of His name.

He is a lamp unto my feet, an everlasting flame.

My life is a light for my Savior; ye lowly in heart come and see.

Like sun bursting forth from a darkened sky, He lives for you and me.
