Our Father, we believe thy holy word
Revealed to us through prophets thou has sent.
We sing a song of joy, for we have heard
Thy Spirit’s voice, O Lord Omnipotent.
Create a mighty change within out hearts.
Cast out all evil thought, all base desire.
And cleanse us with the grace thy Son imparts’
Consume us with thy Spirit’s living fire.
We covenant obedience all our days.
Help us endure—immovable, steadfast—
abounding in thy Son’s refulgent rays,
That we may be at one with thee at last.
With joy we take upon us Jesus’ name,
The only name whereby we may be free.
May we be born of Christ; may Jesus claim
That we are his through all eternity.
