With each sunrise comes the promise of a beautiful new day,
A gift from God to fill with mem’ries sweet.
I awaken in the presence of the ones I truly love.
My cup is full, it brings me to my knees.
But there are no words to thank Him fittingly
Only the song of love that plays inside of me.
For the song of the heart is a prayer unto God.
In each song of the heart the love of God is expressed.
Yes a song of the heart is a prayer unto God
And will be answered with a blessing on my head.
With each sunset I reflect upon the wonders of my day.
My heart is touched by beauty I have seen.
I’ve been strengthened by each test and trial designed to help me grow.
And so, once more I fall upon my knees.
