Again the Voice of Christ is Heard (Bean)

Again the voice of Christ is heard, On earth, as was foretold,

Again He doth impart His word, Through prophets, as of old,

Rejoice! Rejoice, and sing his praise!

The Gospel’s glorious sound,

Shall ring forth in these latter days,

‘Til all in Christ abound!

He calls to ev’ry nation, To ev’ryone on earth”

“Repent and seek salvation, Through baptism’s rebirth!”

Then let us hear and heed his voice, And all our sins forsake,

While angels celebrate our choice, His name on us to take.

Wile in this world of toil and strife, If we in Christ endure,

We shall obtain eternal life, His promises are sure.
