All Join We Now Together (Smith)

Music for Choirs, Submitted Music (1992-1997)

All join we now together as Saints in latter days,

Before our great Redeemer to offer thanks and praise:

For blessings unmeasured, for mercy’s perfect love,

For glories and treasures poured down from heav’n above.

What mortal voice shall e’er be found shouting with more joyful sound?

Ever and ever in Zion we shall sing, extolling our Savior, our mighty Lord and King!

No other name is given, no other pow’r can save

But His who born of heaven has risen from the grave.

“Hosanna! Hosanna!” as earnest servants plead,

That mercy like manna may fall our souls to feed.

What tongue on earth was ever heard pleading with more fervent word?

Ever “Hosanna!” in Zion we shall sing, imploring our Savior, our mighty Lord and King!

And when all time has ended, all earth confessed His name,

And when our Lord descended His ransomed Saints shall claim,

In sacred communion our hearts shall join as one,

Proclaiming the goodness of heaven’s holy Son,

More perfect joy shall never be than with Christ who set us free!

Blessed Redeemer with angels we shall sing, adoring Thee, Savior, O mighty Lord and King!
