Before the light of morning, Mary came unto the tomb
To prepare her Lord for burial, but she found an empty room.
“Woman, why are you weeping!” She thought she heard the Gardner say.
“Because I don’t know where my Lord is, and my heart is full of pain, with sorrow uncontained,
Please show me where he’s laid and let me take my Lord away!
I cannot comprehend why you would take my Lord from me.
Please show me where he’s laid and would you set his body free?
I’m lost with out my Lord, Jesus was my dearest friend.
Without Him, my life will end.”
Then the Savior turned to Mary, and calling her by name, showed that He from death had risen,
Now alive, he spoke again, “I ascend unto my Father, my sacrifice fulfilled.
My suff’ring is for all men. Then he healed her broken heart, just how I can’t explain.
She opened up her heart and let Him take the pain away!
I cannot comprehend my Savior’s sacrifice for me.
He gave His life and from the hands of death he set me free.
He suffered for all sin to pay the price for man.
Because of Him, I live again.
My soul is full of sorrow in seasons of despair, or the torment and the troubles of a life in disrepair,
I go unto my Father with a humble, fervent prayer
Then He reminds me of my Savior, and my heart begins to swell with joy
I can’t contain and love for Jesus Christ that He would take my sins away!
I cannot comprehend my Savior’s sacrifice for me.
He gave his life and from the bands of death He set me free.
He suffered for all sin to pay the price for man.
Because of Him, I live again!
His gift of love for me helped to mend my broken heart.
Because of Him I live, and I can feel again.
I feel His love and now I am a live!
