Come and Watch with Christ our Savior
Submitted Hymn Texts, Submitted Music (2012-present)
Come and watch with Christ our Savior,
Watch and pray for flesh is weak;
Eat the bread and drink the water
To know Him whom we all seek.
Come partake of emblems holy,
As we seek God’s mercy here,
And remember blood and body
Shed for us, a price so dear.
Come remember in the garden
That our sin and pains He knew;
Ransomed us through grace and pardon,
Lifted us to heaven’s view.
Come and cast each sins and error
At his feet nail’d on the cross;
And partake with faith and wonder
As he purges all our dross.
Come rejoice with hymns of gladness,
And remember cov’nants made;
We are baptized with the promise
That our debt the Lord has paid.
Come all Saints who now stand worthy,
With our hearts and minds secure
On His love and endless mercy,
To partake of emblems pure.
