Come Unto Me And Be Ye Saved (Andersen)
Music for Women, Submitted Music (1998-2006)
No other man, no other person, no other cause;
No other early claim can offer life, or grant us salvation;
There’s only One, and Jesus in His name
“Come unto Me and be ye saved,” The Savior spoke,
Inviting all who heard to follow Him,
To choose His heav’nly kingdom.
“Come unto Me, and seek to live My word.”
He conquered death, He conquered Satan;
He conquered sin; He conquered grief and shame.
He promised life and glory everlasting,
The Son of God, and Jesus is His name.
“Come unto Me and be ye saved,” The Savior spoke,
Inviting all who heard to follow Him,
To choose His heav’nly kingdom.
“Come unto Me, and seek to live My word.”
And in my thoughts, in quiet moments,
I think of Him and rev’rently I pray
For strength to keep his great commandments.
Someday I hope that I will hear Him say:
“Come unto Me and be ye saved,”
The Savior speaks, inviting lovingly
To follow Him, to choose celestial glory.
“Come unto Me; come unto Me, and be saved.
