I feast upon the Holy word,
The word of life, the word of peace;
Moroni’s promise I have heard
And tested, bringing sweet release
From burdens of a pride-filled heart.
Set me apart.
I feast upon each sacred book
Of prophets now, of prophets then.
I see their time and as I look
Their message stirs my soul again.
The Holy Ghost bears witness, too.
The word is true.
I feast upon the gospel light,
A precept here, a precept there,
To guide me as I choose the right,
And teach me of a Father’s care.
Then I am filled with grateful love
For Him above.
