God Tells the Animals, "Come"

God Tells the Animals, "Come"

Music for Children, Submitted Music (1998-2006)

When the world had just begun, Adam was the only one.

Into the garden the animals came.  He blessed them and called them by name.

Prophet Noah walked with God, warned the people of the flood.

Into the ark the animals came when God sent them out of the rain.

In the grand Millennium, all the animals are friends.

Lions eat straw by the Bear’s gentle paw; “And then shall a little child lead them.”

Elephants, turtles and tigers and whales, zebras and monkeys with long, curly tails;

The lamb and the lion will lie down as one when God tells the animals, “Come.”

Our dog has the softest fur.  Kitty has the sweetest purr.

Into our lives, the animals come.  God tells the animals, “Come.”
