He Will Heal Us

Music from the New Era

1. He was not too far away to come and heal my brother.
I prayed he’d come and not delay for there was not another
who had the pow’r of God like this Man.

2. I felt my prayer had not been heard; my friend, Lazarus, died.
We buried him behind a stone; in sorrow I did cry.
Could not the pow’r of God have healed him?
Lord, Lord, where art thou?
Hear thou my voice; I call to thee.
Thou hast the power to heal us, to heal us.

3. He was led unto the cave. He knew why he had come,
to glorify his father’s name and raise a sleeping son.
Yet still he felt our pain. He wept.
Lord, Lord, where art thou?
Hear thou my voice; I call to thee.
Thou hast the power to heal us, to heal us.

4. Now the Lord has gone away. His life was given for us.
But still he’s near me when I pray. I know that he will heal us.
He lives, the Son of God! My Savior.
He will heal us.
