His Sheep (Piano and Violin Obligato)

His Sheep (Piano and Violin Obligato)

Instrumental Music, Music for Choirs, Submitted Music (1998-2006)

Some lambs are hungry, they’re tired and worn. They listen alone in the cold

For the step on the stairway, the knock on the door,

The voice the prophets foretold.

If I truly love the Shepherd I will also love His sheep

I will show them His green pastures where living water runs deep.

Some lambs have wondered so long in the dark

They don’t even know they are lost. I will seek them as He would wherever I go.

They’re worthy of infinite cost.

If I truly love the Shepherd I will also love His sheep.

I will show them His green pastures where living water runs deep.

The gentle voice of the Shepherd stills the worry and torment of man.

There’s a light in the darkness. There’s hope in His word.

I’ll share it whenever I can. If I truly love the Shepherd, I will also love His sheep.

I will show them His green pastures where living water runs deep.

I will love His sheep.
