Home is a place of peace
Found in this world of care
For they who enter longing,
May find sweet refuge there.
The Spirit of our Lord,
In every room glows bright,
While darkness outside gathers,
It fills inside with light.
Home is a place of hope,
Found in a world grown cold
Where they who enter hungry,
Are drawn into love’s fold.
There every soul is fed,
In countless tender ways,
As flowers in the sunshine,
Take strength from gentle rays.
