I Am a Daughter of God (Heidenreich)

I Am a Daughter of God (Heidenreich)

Music for Women, Music for Youth, Solos to Sing, Submitted Music (1998-2006)

In a time far removed from my memory,

I lived with God; I felt secure.

And I learned of my glorious destiny,

If I would faithfully endure.

I am a daughter of God.

I was born of a royal birth,

Wrapped in the arms of His love,

Sent forth in faith to the earth.

Gladly I’ll serve in His Kingdom,

Offering all that is mine,

I’ll rise as a daughter of god

And shine forth in light divine

.

There are times here on earth when I falter

I’ll turn to Him; I’ll kneel to pray.

With the sweet, healing hope of the Comforter

I know that I can find the way.

I’ll stand for truth and righteousness.

I’ll keep my sacred covenants.

I’ll dedicate my life to God.

I’ll grasp the iron rod.

I am a daughter of God.

I was born of a royal birth,

Wrapped in the arms of His love,

Sent forth in faith to the earth.

Gladly I’ll serve in His Kingdom,

Offering all that is mine,

I’ll rise as a daughter of god

And shine forth in light divine
